Non-NHS Services

Some services provided are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore attract charges. Examples include the following:

  • Medicals for pre-employment, sports and driving requirements (HGV, PSV etc.)
  • Insurance claim forms
  • Passport signing
  • Prescriptions for taking medication abroad
  • Private sick notes
  • Vaccination certificates

The fees charged are based on the British Medical Association (BMA) suggested scales and our reception staff will be happy to advise you about them along with appointment availability.

Private Patients

We also see patients on a private basis.  This enables patients to book longer appointments (20 minutes minimum).  We have access to a large variety of private hospital services, consultants and diagnostics at our disposal for urgent and routine problems.  We are also able to perform private health checks and insurance reports.

Private Microsuction service to Remove Ear Wax (same day)

Private One-Stop Cardiology Clinic

Dr Costa Chouliaras is a Consultant Cardiologist and offers a private Cardiology service within our surgery.  He is able to deal with all cardiological problems and also perform investigations such as ECG, Echo, 24-hour Holter.  For more information on this service, please visit www.localcardiologist.co.uk
