Save the call to the surgery and make the best use of pharmacy and online consultations, if your concern is of a non-urgent nature.

We have trained our reception staff to ask certain questions to help make sure you receive the most appropriate medical care from the most appropriate health professional at the most appropriate time

If you have booked an telephone appointment we advise patients that the clinician may call between the 2-hour time window and may call from a withheld number.

The clinician will call you three times and send you a message to rebook your after three failed attempts.

PATIENTS RUNNING LATE
Patients are expected to arrive in good time for their appointments.

We do understand that an occasional delay is unavoidable therefore if a patient arrives within a reasonable time, the clinician will endeavour to see them.

If patients are too late for their appointment the clinician will advise to rebook.

This helps prevent delays and ensure fairness for all patients.

GPS CLINICS TIME FRAME IN EMERGENCIES
Emergencies may occur time to time and this can lead to delayed appointments.

Whilst we understand your lengthy wait time we do however appreciate your cooperation.

We do understand that sometimes you may forget your appointment, or that other important life incidents happen and that you sometimes no longer need the appointment. We do ask that if you cannot attend your appointment, please cancel it or notify the practice why you did not attend at your earliest convenience.

We have a large number of people who do not attend their appointments every single week leading to wasted doctor and nurse time, leading to delays in you being able to get an appointment.

You can telephone us on 020 8997 4215, cancel via Systm Online, or come in and speak to Reception.

Please let us know well in advance if you cann

ot make your appointment so that it may be allocated to another patient.

It is clinically better for you to be seen at the surgery where we have better facilities, diagnostic aids and lighting to assess you. We work closely with Ealing Community Transport to bring patients to the surgery where possible.

Home visits are ONLY for housebound patients and for those too ill to attend the surgery. Home visits are not for those who do not have transport.

If you need a home visit please contact the surgery as early as possible in the morning, before 10:00, and give one of our receptionists details. Our Nursing team will call you back for more information and confirm whether a home visit is appropriate depending on the urgency of your needs.
